Mitt Romney Likely To Fade From Public Life After His ‘Very Public Death’, Says Adviser

Mitt Romney will take time to ‘reflect and spend time with his family’ before deciding what his next step is but is unlikely to seek to play a major role in the Republican party or remain a prominent public figure, according to an adviser.

Romney, 65, has just been through what Kitty Dukakis, wife of the 1988 losing Democratic nominee Michael Dukakis, once described as ‘a public death’.
